Founded in 1975, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is a self-governing sovereign institution created with the aim of enhancing recruitment of banking personnel in various Indian banks. Recruitments, Placements, Endorsements and providing end to end solutions to clients regarding human resource management are key functions, IBPS looks after. Moreover, IBPS plays a vital role in providing a wide spectrum of activities in personnel selection for recruitment, promotion, and selecting candidates outside the organization. There are 27 Public Sector Banks, 22 Co-Operative Banks, 11 Private Banks and 62 Regional Rural Banks which are participating in CWE under IBPS.
